you have a block of sky! and you get a starting chest with items to start with but you dont have dirt or food so be careful how you use your stuff!

When I started playing online MineCraft, I was carried away to a realm that WE owned, not our stubborn parents, stupid teachers, or the rest of the oblivious reality we occupied. The new world was a true sandbox, no rules but the law of the land. No rights but the rights earned of the strength of swords and gun. You could set out to create a new creation, a new metropolis. You could become the mayor of a giant allaince of lawful nations, or the cruel merciless raiders, who never need to go mining themselves. I realized that, using minecraft, we could create a new experience, never before felt in gaming or human history.

So the fruits of over a year of labor from over 80 staff members, MineSworn is here to outperform all other PVP servers. And this doesn't just happen from having a server box. A well trained staff is here around the clock to administer to player. By that i dont mean like Admins on all the crappy servers, the admins on minesworn can't even BE in a faction. They can only work, so no getting your base regenerated by asinine Admins.

You will also notice that the gameplay on MineSworn has been significantly altered, for balance reasons. Minecraft is poorly suited for true competition, so we took it upon our selves to do so using the Bukkit Modding API. We have numerous Java coders who have there own plugin projects!!

Here are just some of our custom plugins, that where developed completely IN-HOUSE. And yes you have seen them on other servers coz we upload our code to share with other servers!!

    AutoCraft - Build anything, load it with cannons, and bomb your neighbors with it!!

this server does not have chat filters... so be warned!
it is not really the best minecraft servers by a long shot!
but it is a thriving minecraft servers...

Trouble in Mineville i just discovered and is FANTASTIC fun!
TRAITOR, DETECTIVE or INNOCENTS are the three classes that are randomly
given to each person (except traitor which you can buy passes!)

the whole point of the game is, the innocents and the detectives have to find the
traitors before the traitors kill all of the innocents and detectives!~

each server hosts 24 people max!   and fill up rather fast!

but if you get in late or die you can fly around and spectate but when your playing
you can not see any of the spectators!

this server is a nice little minecraft server!
if you like the small pvp server, not super many people, but enough that you can have some decent fights,
be CAREFUL i got lied to by one minecrafter and they teleported to me and tried to kill me!

I was to crafty... although i was a little bit of a chicken... but 3vs1 and me being quite new on the
server i set off to fight another day!

How to advertise new Minecraft servers!

if you have a new server and are looking to get more people on your server,
you need to get as many people in front of your banners as possible there are many ways
of doing this
Paying for banner ad space!
become a sponsor server!
(the first 2 you can find on almost all minecraft server sites)

but they come at an arm and a leg pricing!
so cheaper version is post your server on many of the same site and get people to vote
your servers as best! one way of doing this is giving free diamonds or other free stuff for votes

that is the most popular method and is probably the best way!

that will make your server go the top of the searches on their site!
want to find those sites you can advertise on? you can advertise on my blog(if your minecraft server runs good) and if you need more of them just search for "minecraft servers" in google and click on one then there should be a post your own server button after you create a account on their site!

Minecraft is DOWN!! HACKED?

Tonight when i went on to look for good minecraft servers, it gave me a Failed to login (503 error) and then my little brother said it was doing the same for him! so i checked minecraft.net

"Site is currently experiencing severe intermittent performance issues.Counter-action is being called into service."

what is going on?!? is minecraft being hacked by some haters?

i do hope it isnt because if minecraft is hacked (like the playstation network) it could
be a little bit until it returns! (and a complete nightmare for notch!)

EDIT: Minecraft servers are back up and running :) WHEW!
