1.9 Combat update

1.9 is coming, and it is the Combat update... here are a few of the things we have good enough evidence to believe will be in it...

4 New types of arrows... and a quiver?!
Dinnerbone released a coded picture, which was decoded to reveal a quiver and 4 new arrows

Its pretty hyped in the Minecraft world, but should it be?

More arrows, sure sounds fun, quiver? Seems like it's becoming more and more complicated for new players. Which is fine, as long as players know they huge learning curve coming into the game!

what else?

I've heard say, Path blocks for villages, and saw a screenshot, but could have easily been false...

Regardless of how this goes on, I hope to see Mojang keep combat as Great as it is now!
Hope you enjoyed the article!

Ditto PvP GONE?!?

A while back I was playing almost everyday (for a bit there) on Mineslam on Ditto PvP

I loved it, completely fair, no Gold gapples coming into play, no pots, no soups, just PvP straight up, there were no PvP advantages, even for donators. They most likely decided its not worth hosting that doesn't bring in donations in to pay for itself.

If you have heard, they shut it down, (Only Ditto PvP) but what can players do about it? well me as a Player have a server, so I modeled it as close as possible (besides the map) and added it to my network! without further talking here is the IP

IP: PigPvP

Run into the KitPvP portal when you get there (I call it ditto PvP, because most people don't know what Ditto PvP is...)

If you don't care about ditto PvP we have some other things to do!
Enjoy the NEW Ditto PvP!

1.8.4 Changes

Minecraft 1.8.4 has come out, and for many it means very little, others like myself, was Curious as to what they changed in 1.8.4, and why use it instead of 1.8 - 1.8.3, when I saw it updated to 1.8.4 I checked what was updated in the Minecraft launcher and then proceeded to go and check on Google, because of lack of info in the launcher...

On Mojang's official website, they listed a few more "notable fixes" including...

1. Pets were following spectators...
2. Vines not growing into corners correctly
3. Certain characters not being typable
4. Nether portals placement of the player
5. Duplicated Items
6. Malicious clients can force a server to freeze
7. Malicious clients can force a server to go out of memory
8. User Has joined shows multiple times

Notice I've put 5-7 in bold, because these are the main things I will be discussing...

#5 is the most important that I've seen, and is done with TnT and a container of any sort (I've seen it done with a chest, and a hopper). When done just right, when exploded, it will drop a diamond with the number 0 beside it, and when put into a dropper, will continue to drop diamonds forever... (every time it drops 1 diamond, it will make the number -1 more... so if you run it for a while it might go up to -1000 (and it shown in a red color))

For me, the possibilities are endless for this kind of glitch, but for those of you that don't run a server, here is why you shouldn't be using glitches like this...

It ruins a server... Not many people know this, but when a glitch is used, the economy and the PvP on that server is messed up... people can create items at will if they only have 1 item, so they can create anything they like, and sell to shops, and to other players, at no cost to themselves, what is the problem with this? If the items that are normally rare, turn into easy to get items, then all the goals that the players had, are gone, and don't matter anymore... which means, all the players will think its fun for the first day, or maybe 3, but by the time the first week rolls around, most of the players will be bored, and quit. this is a problem, and is the reason server owners/staff ask that you report any glitches you find.

#6-#7 are important, but I'm a bit unsure of how major these bugs were, personally I never saw these be used, but I'm assuming larger servers have...

Hello everyone!

In this article we will be looking at PigPvP (my own server)

PigPvP as a server has been around for a few years now, it started as a factions server, and has since grown to support more then 1 gamemode... here is a list of the Gamemodes we currently run...
KitPvP (like KitPvP, but only 1 kit for completely fair PvP)

Soon to come gamemodes
OP Factions
OP Prison
HCF (Hardcore Factions)
Hub (to join to, and connect to your preferred gamemode)

To access another gamemode join the same IP, then type in a command like this...
/server creative
/server kitpvp

We are a small and growing community, and we can always use more great players like you!
PigPvP is running 1.7-1.8

If you have a suggestion for a gamemode, please comment down below!

Eula - Minecraft Server Changes

EULA of Minecraft appears to be changing and with it, the whole of Minecraft...

The video above is BeBopVox, and he does a good job of explaining somethings...

First of all what is the "EULA", it is the end user license agreement... this is what we agree to, to play the game...

it started out 2011 that it said we could even sell plugins that we created for money, 1 year later it was the direct other side... saying we can't...

2011 gameplay features were not in the EULA but as of late, the EULA is being changed to deny any selling of gameplay features, and thus taking the money away from server owners / coders, and by taking away that money, its taking away games...

although Mojang has stated that they do want servers to be able to make money, they don't want servers to sell perks of any sort, although there is a foggy area of which we don't know much about yet, we hope that Mojang can figure out a way to keep Minecraft servers up and running...

If we were to take out all "perks" that players pay for, and not have a replacement servers will be shut down / Downgraded, what do you think? how should we deal with this?

Join my Minecraft server to talk about it, or leave a comment down below!

Trouble in mineville server Being Shut Down?

Trouble in mineville server Being Shut Down?

After a while of Playing Capture the flag, I thought a nice game of Trouble in Mineville would be nice, so i tried looking up a server IP, and tried the old IPs and I couldnt find it guys, i'm a little sad! that was a great mini game!

If you like me and want this back, you can try and get in contact of the people that run it, the way i understand it, they will start a new server, with more mini games on it....

But for now, I think we are gonna have to do with what we have!

So Check out my server while that one is out, Factions, PvP, raiding and Good community!
